(276) 276-7321 Scam Check - EXTREME RISK Risk Level | CheckScamNumber

This is clearly a p******g attempt, trying to get a response. (I get many of this type of message, from all different numbers.) It was a professional-sounding message, except for the ungrammatical phrase, "on monthly bill", which seems to indicate that it was actually AI-generated. The risks in responding to such voicemails involve not only verification that your phone number is active, but also more extensive personal data collection, all of which can then be sold and/or used, directly, for identity theft and assistance to bad actors in hacking into your online financial accounts and draining them. I am not an AT&T Direct subscriber (and never have been). Nonetheless, this is the voicemail I received (at 2:23 PM on March 25, 2026): "Hello, this voicemail is from AT&T DirectTV. You are just moments away from losing your 50% discount offer on monthly bill. Please call back right now on the number showing on your caller ID to stop doubling your monthly bill. Thank you."
